    At West Corbin Christian Church, we believe that every person who comes into the circle of His special fellowship was sent by God Himself. You will find that we are a family, a family rich in relationships.

    Together we worship, we serve, we laugh, we cry, we learn and we reach out to the lost. Our door and our hearts are always open, and if you been searching and hoping for a place to belong, we say "Welcome Home".

History

    West Corbin Christian Church was formed in 1910 and services were held in the old West Corbin school. In 1922 services were held in an old store on Gordon Hill. An A frame building was erected in 1922 near the I-75 overpass road. In the mid 1960's, the building was sold for the construction of I-75. The building we currently call home had it's groundbreaking on Resurrection Sunday, 1969.

Our Beliefs

    West Corbin Christian Church is a non-denominational fellowship with no creed but Christ and no book but the Bible. We believe that:

•  Christ is the head of the church.
•  The Bible is the Word of God.
•  The Bible contains God's instructions for life.
•  Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
•  Jesus Christ died for our sins and rose from the dead.
•  The Church is the Body of Christ.
•  Jesus Christ is coming again.

    Membership at West Corbin Christian Church requires acceptance by faith of God's Plan of Salvation:

•  Believe - John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
•  Repent - Acts 17:30 "In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent."
•  Confess - Matthew 16:16 "Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."
•  Baptism - Acts 2:38 "Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."
